
Frederick Mendler is responsible for Rackspace's Managed Service Level segment. It is his job to ensure Fanatical Support
® is a reality
for Rackspace customers and to provide the right tools and environment for Rackspace employees to deliver it. Mendler takes pride in building
teams of dedicated and enthusiastic Rackers and enabling and empowering them to perform fanatically for their customers.
Initially a marketing consultant working with Rackspace, Mendler was exposed to the culture of Fanatical Support. In January 2003 he joined
the company as an Account Manager. His gift and passion for customer service was immediately apparent. With his ability to support both
Rackspace customers and employees he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Director of Fanatical Support and,
ultimately, Vice President, Fanatical Support—Managed.
Prior to joining Rackspace, Mendler held management positions with several customer service focused national retailers, as well as positions
with a variety of public relations and marketing firms working on high-tech accounts.
Mendler graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Mass
Communications.
